Sophie founded the Original Parasol Co. in 2022, after many years unsuccessfully searching for a backyard umbrella that was stylish, original, designed for the Australian climate... and not beige.
The Original Parasol Co. is inspired by a lifetime of travles.
The brightly coloured, embellished umbrellas are reminiscent of luxury hotels, boutique resorts, members clubs, desert tents, & festivals.

The Original Parasol Co umbrellas are designed by Australians to be tough, for the extreme Australian climate. Where a summer's day can include blistering heat, swift sea breeze & a tropical thunderstorm to round it off.
The ranges of parasols, cushions & BBQ Covers are designed by Sophie in Sydney. The final product is produced both Sydney & Melbourne for distribution across Australia & Internationally.
