Weights - plates and bags
There are 2 choices for weights:
1. Weight plates - 15 kgs, sit under base on feet
2. Weight bags - empty bag to fill with sand up to 15 kgs, sit on top of base
Our base and weight system allows you to select an appropriate solution best for your needs and wind profile.
Weight plates are a streamlined solution, plates can be added up (to to five) to provide a low profile and more durable foundation. They sit under the base on specialised industrial feet. This system is ideal where bases do not have to be brought in regularly and yet still has the flexibility to be moveable if required.
Our custom designed weight bags sit on top of the base. They are shipped empty and can be filled with sand. Designed to hold 15 kgs, weight bags have been custom designed to be used with our bases.
We recommend 2-4 weights for your umbrellas, subject to the canopy size and level of wind.

Weight Plates
Weight plates are black as standard, as wear better than white due to the nature of use. And for aesthetic purposes, resembling a shadow.
These can be custom powder coated upon request.

Bags are white as standard, but can be made in black or grey by request.

Please note: bases, weights & sockets may be shipped separately due to weight.
Care
Care
We recommend keeping weight plates clean and free of debris - with gentle hosing to clear leaves, mud and dirty water.
Due to the nature of use, small cracks can develop over time in the powder coating. When this happens, dirty water or sea salt can cause corrosion.
To keep the bases free of rust, regularly rinse with clean water and avoid sitting in puddles of water or debris.
